What is “D” Raid?
Dinaric Raid is not your average offroad event. It’s not a competition; it’s a friendly journey through the most stunning mountain peaks and passes of the Dinaric Alps, spanning Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Designed for drivers of all skill levels, from seasoned 4×4 experts to adventurous bikers, Dinaric Raid offers a mix of exhilarating trails suitable for everyone. Whether you’re behind the wheel of a heavy-duty 4×4, a Side-by-Side ATV, a quad, or a powerful motorcycle, this is the adventure you’ve been waiting for.
Routes
Our carefully curated routes ensure that every participant experiences the thrill of offroading while soaking in the beauty of the Dinaric landscapes. From sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea to turquoise rivers cutting through limestone valleys, Dinaric Raid showcases the best of the region. And for the most daring drivers, we offer alternative tracks with even more challenges and rewards, including bonus waypoints where you can test your skills and creativity.

At Dinaric Raid, your safety is our top priority. Our experienced rescue teams and medical professionals are always on standby, ready to assist you at a moment’s notice. With state-of-the-art tracking devices and safety equipment, we ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants. Plus, our dedicated mobile app allows your loved ones to track your progress throughout the event, providing peace of mind for everyone involved.

Whether you’re driving a rugged 4×4, a nimble ATV, a powerful motorcycle, you’re welcome to join the adventure. Our goal is to showcase the beauty of the Dinaric mountains to all enthusiasts, regardless of their preferred mode of transportation. From brand new Ford Rangers to seasoned enduros, everyone can experience the thrill of Dinaric Raid. Make sure to have all the papers and street legal, registered vehicles!
Accommodation and Dining
Each day brings a new destination and a new hotel for you to unwind and recharge after a day of offroad excitement. Our handpicked accommodations offer comfort and luxury, complete with amenities like saunas and massages (no every night!) to soothe your tired muscles. And when it comes to dining, get ready to indulge in delicious local cuisine, from traditional specialties to international favorites. Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay, while lunch options are available along the route, allowing you to explore the local gastronomy at your own pace.
Navigation and Support
Navigation is made easy with our GPS tracks, carefully crafted to guide you through each day’s adventure. GPX files wil be distributed a few days before beggining of the raid, through the emails. For those interested in learning roadbook navigation, we offer optional roadbooks for certain sections of the route. We will always be there to help in case of any issues with nav equipment, tracks or roadbooks. With daily briefings and support teams always on hand, you’ll have all the guidance you need to tackle the trails with confidence.
Equipment and other things
Let’s go through it step by step.
Documents. We will cross the borders several times so make sure to have all documents needed.
Vehicle. You’ll need a properly registered and street legal vehicle. Make sure you have a valid driver’s license and all vehicle documents.
Tools. A basic set of tools for repairs on the go is also crucial. We’ll have plenty of tools in our support vehicle, but make sure you have tools specific to your vehicle!
Tires. Regardless of the vehicle you drive/ride, expect to encounter a lot of off-road terrain, so good off-road tires are essential. What does that mean? Well, it’s almost a deep philosophy and a question without a clear answer. For us, when we rider / drive, it means the biggest knobs the vehicle can handle and tire replacement when the knobs wear out. We recommend the same for you. With prior notice, we can organize tire change for you!
Fuel. There’s plenty along the way, so you don’t need to carry extra fuel, and your daily maximum range should be around 130 kilometers. If you’re driving a really small bike, consider an extra tank, otherwise, you’re good!
First Aid. It’s mandatory. You know what goes into a first aid kit, right?. Don’t forget any specific medications for allergies, etc.
