Day 5 / Stage 4: Velebit

Day 5 of Dinaric Rally 2026 is underway, with the competitors now on Stage 4 / Velebit.

At approximately 314 kilometres, Velebit is 111 kilometres shorter than Stage 1 / Krbava, the longest stage of this year’s rally. But the shorter distance does not mean an easier day.

Today’s route is slower and more technically demanding, with more total climbing packed into the stage than on Krbava. For comparison, Krbava covered 424.7 kilometres and already included more than 6,000 metres of total ascent.
That gives Velebit a very different profile: fewer kilometres, but more elevation gain and a slower, more technical character.
