Dinaric Rally 2026 Stage 1: Krbava Starts Before Sunrise

The first full stage of Dinaric Rally 2026 started early.

By around 05:00, the bivouac was already awake. Lights were on under the team tents, bikes were being checked and riders were preparing for the longest stage of the week.

At 06:00, the first riders began leaving the bivouac one by one. Their order came from yesterday’s Prologue, which set the starting order for Stage 1.

Today’s Krbava stage covers 424.7 km in total, including 385.7 km of selective section and more than 6,000 metres of climbing. The route moves between roughly 180 and 1,412 metres above sea level, with five neutralisations along the way.

Krbava is also the first part of the marathon stage, with the full competition picture only becoming clear after tomorrow’s second part.

By mid-morning, most of the field still had a very long way to go.
