Wow! What a day!
The riders started off with some formalities as they had to enter Bosnia. Good old bureaucracy.
But then, wham!!! Welcome to the untamed wilderness of Bosnia. The special stage took the riders up the scenic Šator and Cincar mountain. and through incredible karst fields buzzing with life. They crossed ancient bridges and had to deal with some tricky navigation. Quite a few of them went off track but in the end came to the Adria Ski Hotel above Kupres with a huge smile on their faces.
Because the stage was tricky for navigation, the lead swapped hands numerous times.
